Faith Formation Commission

The Faith Formation Commission provides the opportunity for our children, youth, and adults to continue their faith journey by teaching the Catholic Christian doctrine, supporting the domestic church in a nurturing environment, and providing enriching opportunities for outreach.

Sacrament Preparation

The mission of the Sacrament Preparation Ministry is to prepare our children and adults for the Sacrament of Initiation and Full Communion into the sacramental life of the Church.

For First Reconciliation and First Communion for children who have been baptized and are in third grade through high school, please contact:

 

 

St. Joseph Faith Formation also offers a program for families with children ages 7 and older needing Baptism or for children who have not received any faith formation and are behind in receiving their Sacraments. If you think your child might benefit from this program, or if you know of a family whose children might benefit from it, please contact Charles Noll at 830-980-2268, ext. 210.

Edge

Religious education for Middle School, grades 6 to 8.  Edge provides relational ministry through relevant and age appropriate lessons in a welcoming, dynamic, and interactive setting.  Jesus Christ is at the center of all that we do.

Traditional Middle School

Religious education for Middle School, grades 6 to 8, in a classroom setting.  Fostering the faith of young adolescents infolves helping them to make connections between the Catholic faith and everyday life.

High School

Our high school teens have opportunities throughout the year to come closer to Christ and their Catholic community. We invite teens to gather in small groups on Sunday afternoons, Sunday evenings, or Wednesday evenings to share their faith. Then, once a month, teens are invited to particpate in a large group activity, such as prayer retreats, socials, mass is class, adoration, and more! All programs stay relevant, engaging, and dynamic to be centered and focused on Jesus Christ.

Young Adults
