Marty Alonzo
Administrative Support to Faith Formation (Part-time)

Marty was born in raised in San Antonio, Texas, and attended Blessed Sacrament Academy.  She is married to Henry Alonzo, and together they have five children and nine grandchildren.  She has been a parishioner at St. Joseph - Honey Creek since 2003.

As Administrative Support to Faith Formation, her duties include assisting with Faith Formation registrations, helping with needed forms and collecting fees, and serving as liason for Faith Formation Team schedules, routing phone calls, emails, etc.  Marty also assists the Faith Formation department by translating English documents into Spanish, and communicating in Spanish as needed in phone calls, emails meetings, etc.  Marty creates class rosters, records attendance, and sends forms out for and keeps records on criminal background checks, OVASE training, and the viewing by volunteers and church staff of a sexual misconduct video.

When not working for the church, Marty volunteers in the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and also serves as a Eucharistic Minister, and in various other ministries, including Women's ACTS, the Festival Committee, Guadalupe Ministries, and Vacation Bible School.  She also enjoys spending her free time reading, working puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.
