Sue Torres
Director of Elementary Faith Formation

Sue has been married to Steve since 2000; they have four children, Norman, Joseph, Henry and Milla.

Sue graduated from Madonna University with a B.S. in Education.  She obtained her M.A. in Reading and Language Arts from Oakland University.

Prior to having children Sue worked as a Reading Specialist in Elementary Education.  She has been a member of the St. Joseph parish since 2013. Sue lists her hobbies as baking, reading, running and hiking with her family.

As Director of Religious Education, Sue's duties include:

  • Directing, coordinating, and organizing the programs –

      – Faith Formation for Pre-K to Grades 5,
      – Spanish Religious Education,
      – Vacation Bible School,
      – Special Needs Program,
      – Parents & Tots,
      – and Special Events for Children.

  • Serving as Coordinator of the Religious Education Commission.
  • Directing preparation of classes for First Reconciliation and First Communion.
